Home alarms & Business alarms have come a long way!

Home & Business alarm systems have come a long way from just being able to detect unwanted entry. They are now the main hub for controlling door locks, thermostat, video doorbells, cameras, garage doors, and most importantly water leak detection. Did you know that water damage is the number one insurance claim in America?

With wireless technology now taking over most home and small business installations, compared to wired systems, there are many options out there for consumers and small business owners. Here is a scenario for both.

For homeowners we can now automate everything in the home. As I walk out of my house, I push the lock button on my Z wave door lock:

  1. The alarm system arms
  2. The lights adjust
  3. The doors lock
  4. The thermostats set to their predetermined setbacks
  5. The cameras around the house will send me a push notification if they detect a person-vehicle-or animal
  6. My garage door will automatically close
  7. My fire alarm is always on to protect my dog!

 

For business owners we can now save them money, and protect their businesses, all from the same system. Once the employee arms the system:

  • The doors all lock
  • The lights turn off
  • The thermostats set to their predetermined setbacks (saving money on energy bills)
  • The cooler/refrigerators notify the owner if they go to high and save them money on spoiled food
  • The owners receive a push notification on who armed the system or if the system was never armed by a certain time, get a notification which will allow them to arm the system from their phone
  • In the morning we notify the owner when & who disarmed the system. Send them a video of who disarmed it and if the employee never shows up by a certain time, notify them as well
  • Once the system is disarmed, we can set the thermostats back to normal, turn on the lights, and notify the owners
  • If the alarm system should trigger, the owner will get a push notification and a video clip from the cameras, and they can look in live and determine if it’s a false alarm or and actual break-in!

 

 

All with wireless technology and very cost effective!
